In Abuja, a 25-year-old woman, Victoria Alonge poured hot oil on her boyfriend, Roland Nna, over his refusal to marry her after they dated for four(4) years. She claimed he dumped her after he met another woman. She baptised him with the oil while he was asleep.
Victoria has been sentenced to one year in jail by the Magistrate at Karu Senior Magistrate’s Court, Abuja.
