SACK GALORE IN ASO ROCK - WHO IS NEXT?

The wave of SACK at Abuja is the hottest gist in the villa at the moment as two special advisers have also lost their jobs. Recall that GEJ had earlier relieved NINE ministers of their responsibilities.

The Two SAs are, his Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Mrs. Joy Emordi; and that of New Partnership for Africa’s Development, Dr. Tunji Olagunju.

A statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, said Jonathan commended Emordi and Olagunju for their services and wished them success in their future endeavours.

No reason has been given for the sackings. When contacted, Emordi expressed gratitude to the President for an opportunity to serve him and by extension the nation.

She said, “It was an honour and rare privilege to serve Mr. President and my nation in the capacity I served. I am also grateful to God and my family for the support they gave me throughout the period.”

Emordi equally said she would continue to work towards the growth and progress of Nigeria and urged Nigerians to continue to support Mr. President’s transformation agenda.
