Gareth Bale concluded his transfer to Spanish giants, Real Madrid yesterday for a world transfer record fee of £85.3m. The previous record was £80m Real Madrid paid for the services of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bale will earn about £300,000 per week for the next six years. The 24-year-old joined Totttenham from southampton for £10m in 2007. He was twice named PFA player of the year.
