TEENAGER IN KATSINA KILLED GAY PARTNER FOR FAILING TO FULFILL HIS PROMISES

A 17-year old boy has been arrested by police in Katsina state for allegedly killing former local government chairman, whom the police suspect was the gay partner of the suspect.

The suspect was arrested for allegedly killing Samaila Magaji, a former Chairman of Ingawa Local Government of the state.

Mr Magaji was killed last week when assailants attacked him at his residence at Barhin quarters, Katsina.
Police Commissioner, Muhammad Hurdi, said police recovered the knife allegedly used for the attack, and the deceased’s two mobile phones, allegedly kept in a secret place by the suspect.

According to police, the suspect said Mr Magaji was his “boyfriend” whom he killed because he failed to fulfil his promises to him.

The police said the suspect claimed that one of the promises was that Mr Magaji failed to get him re-admitted in school after he was expelled for indulging in the homosexuality.
