SOLOMON LAR (PDP PIONEER CHAIRMAN) IS DEAD

SOLOMON LAR

The first civilian governor of larger Plateau State and pioneer National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Chief Solomon Daushep Lar is dead.

He died in an American hospital at 3.00am US time. Chief Solomon Lar has been out of political circulation and in a hospital in United States of America for medical treatment in the past nine months over age-related ailment.


Lar was born in Pongaa, Langtang, Plateau State in April 1933. He held various offices at national level for over 50 years. He died at the ripe age of 80.
