TWO MEN CHARGED FOR RAPING A 15-YR-OLD GIRL IN OSUN STATE

Two middle aged men have been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate’s court for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Ikirun, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.

The men, Azeez kehinde, 20, Adeyanju Ismaila, 23, were alleged to have defiled and assaulted the girl simply identified as Pepeye at Igbo-Ile area of Ikirun, mid night.

No fewer than 28 people were trampled to death early Saturday in a stampede that occurred  during a vigil at the Holy Ghost Adoration Ground, Uke, in the Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The vigil was attended by Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Mr. Willie Obiano and the National Chairman of APGA, Dr. Victor Umeh.

TEENAGER IN KATSINA KILLED GAY PARTNER FOR FAILING TO FULFILL HIS PROMISES

A 17-year old boy has been arrested by police in Katsina state for allegedly killing former local government chairman, whom the police suspect was the gay partner of the suspect.

The suspect was arrested for allegedly killing Samaila Magaji, a former Chairman of Ingawa Local Government of the state.

POLICE ARRAIGN MAN FOR RAPING HIS SICK SISTER

A middle aged man, Jacob Jume was yesterday arraigned before a Makurdi Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly raping his sick younger sister (names withheld) who was on admission in a private hospital in Gwer West Local Government Area of the state.

The the 30-year old patient who was receiving treatment at Tersoo clinic in Naka, was allegedly raped by her brother and staff of the clinic, after having injected her with a substance suspected to be a sedative.
