MUGABE ORDERS ANIMALS TO BE SHIPPED INTO ZOO TO IMPRESS VISITORS

Hundreds of safari animals have been transported across Zimbabwe to a poaching-prone nature reserve ahead of a UN meeting to make the area appear populated.

The decision to move the animals from a private conservancy in southeastern Zimbabwe to Victoria falls is to ‘repopulate’ the preserve before the United Nations world tourism body’s meeting for the benefit of visiting delegates.

Giraffes, zebra, several types of antelopes and hundreds of wildebeest have been transported for over 400 miles, the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force of independent environmentalists said.

Fifteen-year-old stowaway, Daniel Oikhena, who hid in the undercarriage of a Lagos bound plane from Benin city has been offered scholarship to the University level by the De Raufs’ Volunteer Group, a group of supporters of Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

His suicidal mission has earned him a scholarship offer but it shouldn't be a motivating factor for other children to attempt similar missions.

 Recall that the lawyer and human rights activist was KIDNAPPED in Edo State on Friday. Four Policemen were killed during the gun battle as they tried to rescue him.

THREE YEAR OLD GIRL RAPED IN NIGER STATE. #SAYNOTORAPE

The end is not in sight for the campaign against child molestation and rape in Nigeria as a two girls (three year old and six year old) were reportedly raped in Niger State and Ogun State respectively.

Adult males now take advantage of this little ones to satisfy their sexual urge. Every Parent should be advised on the need to keep an eye on their girls in other to avoid stories that touch.

GIRL(21) COMMITS SUICIDE IN ILORIN AFTER HER MOTHER BRANDED HER A FAILURE

Tragedy struck on Saturday  at  Isale Asa Ilorin, Kwara State as a 21-year-old girl identified as Kemi, committed suicide.

Kemi, who was a fashion designer, allegedly took her own life with a locally-made rat poison known as sole lasan following derogatory comments from her mother during a fight. Her mother was quoted as calling her a complete failure and a disgrace to the family”.

The deceased who was unhappy about the comment went to her room and committed the act. She died on her way to the teaching hospital at Ilorin after her mother had raised an alarm when she found her in pains.

SENATOR'S SON ARRESTED IN ABUJA FOR ROBBERY

The son of a former Senator(Adefemi Kila) representing Ekiti State, Ola Kila has been arrested and remanded in prison on suspicion of robbery. Police claims he belongs to a gang that has been terrorizing Abuja.

He and his gang were reported to have robbed a former Army Colonel on 5th July, 2013, at Mbora Estate by Jabi District, where his AK-47 and other valuable items were removed.

The suspects and another member of his gang have been ordered to be remanded at Keffi and Nasarawa State Prisons by the Magistrate at Area Magistrate court, Karu, Abuja.

Investigation is on-going.
