HUSBAND ABSCONDS AFTER KILLING WIFE IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN LAGOS. #SAYNOTODOMESTICVIOLENCE. #RIPRONKESHONDE.

Tragedy struck in the home of "Mr. & Mrs. Shonde" at Tiemo Crescent off Awori street in Egbeda Lagos when the nanny discovered the lifeless body of Ronke in the early hours of Friday 6th May 2016.

She was allegedly beaten to death by her husband Lekan who then locked her in with their two children who are both aged 6 & 7. He absconded afterwards.

Reports indicate that the victim's husband is a serial abuser but she remained in the marriage because of her children.

Law enforcements agents have already been summoned to investigate and ensure Lekan is brought to justice.

Females in Nigeria are consistently being subjected to physical and sexual abuse. This time it led to irreplaceable loss of life.

We are hoping justice will be served to deter other abusers from laying hands on females.
