PRE-WEDDING PICTURES OF ISAAC (@Hyzic23) & TOLULOPE (@Tolextra)......

It's been many weeks since I blogged actively for obvious reasons. That is if you are familiar with BBX, but if there is a post capable of making me sit to blog once again, it is this particular post.

My childhood bully who later became my personal person is getting married to our aburo. Yes, Tolulope is our aburo. I emphasized"OUR" because she was a younger friend of our clique before she ultimately became Isaac's fiancee. By the way, I belong to a clique of 7 great guys (Ay-dudu, Ay-pupa, Deolu, Arc Tolu, Isaac, Tunde & Xanta).

Most of us grew up in the same neighborhood, attended same primary school (they were all my seniors) and have remained friends for more than 25 years. So, we met Tolulope through Ayo-dudu.

ORPHANED BY EBOLA..........

Two children sit outside a hospital in Kenema, the third largest city in Sierra Leone, digging into a bowl of food and sharing plastic bags of clean water.

They have both been orphaned during the Ebola outbreak that has gripped West Africa and put the rest of the planet in a state of constant vigilance and fear.

The death toll in the outbreak is now at 4,546, around half of the known cases in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to the latest figures from the UN World Health Organization.

Now, the WHO is scaling up efforts to reach 600,000 people that have been affected by the health crisis in the area, that has seen hundreds of children orphaned and many families left without a breadwinner.

SUCCESS STORY - HOW NIGERIA CONTAINED THE EBOLA OUTBREAK.

The lines on the tabular situation reports, sent to WHO each day by its country office in Nigeria, have now been full of zeros for 42 days.

WHO officially declares that Nigeria is now free of Ebola virus transmission.

This is a spectacular success story that shows that Ebola can be contained. The story of how Nigeria ended what many believed to be potentially the most explosive Ebola outbreak imaginable is worth telling in detail.

A PEEP INTO LIFE WITHOUT "F.O.D"

It's been about 5 weeks since my Father, my Friend and my Mentor was called to glory, trust me, life has not been the same.

He was the kind of man you could beat your chest and say would live for the next 20 years at least. So full of life and energy. There was never a dull moment with my father. Dad was loved by many, by both young and old, in church, in the community and within his nuclear/extended family. He worked hard and smart. Oh, death is cruel.

God took a decision we couldn't change. Our usual bubbling family home has become quite a shadow of itself. The silence there at the moment brings tears to my eyes, The tears flow when I remember his jokes and see our family pictures. No mortal being can bring him back but the scriptures assures me all will be well.

FELIX ODUSANYA DINA (1954 – 2014). THE PASSING OF A GOOD MAN BY JIDE AJANI.

LATE BARRISTER FELIX ODUSANYA DINA
Who is a good man?, you may ask!

He who, knowing that what he would say would definitely get some people angry, but puts it to the test of sincerity and honesty, convinces himself that saying it would be for a good cause before decent men and God Almighty, still goes ahead to say it, is a damn good man!

Those may not be his exact words.

But were he alive and you ask Felix Odusanya Dina, LLB, BL, his response would not be too far away.  A man of character, Mr. Dina, as he was generally known by fellow residents of Abesan Low Cost Housing Estate, Abesan, Ipaja, Lagos, particularly his Block 396, Flat 3, was one damn good man.

Though not denying the growing divorce scandal surrounding him, the head pastor of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has threatened legal recourse against journalists publishing stories about him and his wife, Anita's divorce.

The pastor, who spoke through his lawyer, Mr. Kemi Pinheiro (SAN), called the accusations of adultery a "false and malicious" attack against him and the church.

“We are raped and molested by our own children. You cannot come to Mgbuishii and return home safely because of the crime,” the women told Archbishop Obinna.

A former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday responded to the allegations levelled against him by a former leader of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Tom Ikimi; describing Ikimi as a liar.

RAPED COLLEGE STUDENT WILL CARRY HER MATTRESS EVERYWHERE UNTIL HER ALLEGED RAPIST IS EXPELLED.

A college student has taken the fight against her rapist and school authorities into her own hands as she has vowed to continue carrying her mattress everywhere she goes on her campus until the alleged rapist is expelled.

Emma Sulkowicz says she was raped in her own dorm bed by a classmate on the first day of her sophomore year of college. Since then, a substantial amount of her time at Columbia University has been spent trying to convince college administrators, police, and even friends that what happened to her really happened, that it was rape, and that her rapist deserves to be punished for what he did.

Sulkowicz is one of 23 students who are part of a federal Title IX complaint filed against Columbia in April for mishandling sexual-assault cases. Though she and two other students reported that the same student had assaulted them, all of their claims were swept under the rug, and the male student was not expelled from campus.
